Reagan Mackenzie is here

Reagan did not wreck our vacation after all. She tried to (Ashley was hospitalized while we were at the beach) but our sweet little granddaughter waited until the morning after our return. Ashley went in for an induction early yesterday at 37 weeks, Monday July 13th. All was pretty calm as far as labor goes. About 5 p.m. she was completely dilated and effaced but after 3.5 (+) hours of pushing, it was clear that Miss Reagan was not getting through Ashley's pelvis. After all of Ashley's effort, all of the pushing (let me say that she did great, gave it all she had - total trooper, my hero!!), she ended up having to have a C-section about 9 p.m. The surgery went well, baby did great and we are all over the moon excited and exhausted after one very long day, especially poor Ash. Welcome to the world sweet Reagan!
