Evyn has had some neat stuff going on recently as well. Her Daisy troop had their bridging ceremony. She will no longer be a Dai.sy Sc.out, she is now a Brownie. The ceremony was held at a church in our neighborhood, and all of the local, eligible GS rose to the next level. They literally walk across this little wooden bridge and then their leaders put some ribbon around their necks (I swear I was paying attention, but still don't understand what he little ribbon thingy was all about) and gave them a rose. Evyn's troop leaders also had a Brownie vest with the troop numbers and everything required for the vest already ironed on (that meant more to me than anything - saved me at least an hour of my time and a trip to the GS store).
She has also been killing time with a good book while waiting for Reed's tball practice to end, something that she considers to be a lot like torture(the waiting, not the reading). We also went to the Irish Festival after St. Patty's Day where she had to had to have a new head band and a bag of cotton candy to match - this picture happened to be taken before her mouth turned blue.

She and Reed also were invited to spend the night with their buddies, Braxton and Ayden. The morning after sleeping over, they went to A and B's grandpa's farm where they ate strawberries from his garden, swam in his pool, rode ATVs, held a rooster and chased some chickens. Holly and I were not there, but A and B's mom was kind enough to document the great time they had.

Now that all of the spring activities have been documented, rather poorly, but documented nonetheless, let summer begin. At 11:15 EST, tomorrow, June 18th, the Lively Family summer will officially begin and boy are we ready.
