The 100th Day of School

It was quite uneventful compared to last year with Evyn's teacher. Reed's teacher has been teaching at the kids' school since Ashley went there however many years ago. I'm sure Mrs. W is over going all out for the kindergartners on the 100th day of school. She is 100 days closer to spring break and/or summer vacation - that sounds like a great reason to celebrate. They did do some cute 100-related activities. Like these 100s made out of cookies.

I did get a chance to ask Mrs. W if she rewarded Reed's good behavior with an ice cream last week. She cut her eyes at me as if to say, "yeah, right.....NOT." I wanted to believe his story. I hate to think he is already showing signs of being an excellent storyteller, and I hear his smart little back talking these days and it makes me very scared. He is just like me. I've heard my own mother bust out laughing when he has pulled a Shannon-like move. She might say I deserve this. She might be right. :)
