Buds

Now that it has been feeling like spring around here, the kids have been throwing their backpacks on the porch after school and play outside as long as I will let them. They climb trees, ride bikes, ride big wheels, play baseball, look for earth worms. I usually take their snack order, assemble a snack tray and toss it outside to them. They love it and I love it more than words can express. Yesterday, they waited together at the end of the driveway for their bus to pass back by on its way out of the neighborhood. They are friends, a brother and a sister, enjoying a warm afternoon.
